A retired executive experienced in government, private sector and not-for-profit organizations with a pattern of recognized accomplishment through vision-inspired, goal-oriented and empowering leadership based on steadfast values. An eight-year Mayor responsible for every aspect of municipal government for 44,000 constituents, which included budgets as high as $42 million and a record of successful negotiations including multiple union contracts, sales contracts and settlements.  A former executive with a strong academic background in Chemical Engineering, Business Administration and Physics who understands the interrelationship among technology, businesses, public policy and the marketplace. 

Saad Toor holds a B.A. in Political Science and M.A. in Education from the University of Connecticut, and an M.Sc. in Modern South Asian Studies / International Relations from Oxford University’s St. Antony’s College. Toor is an Upper School World History teacher at The Pingry School in Bernards Township, where he also coaches middle school athletics and serves as a Form Dean. He was recently elected as the President of the Somerset County Young Democrats.

Marguerite is a long-time resident of Bridgewater and former Somerville Borough Councilwoman. After obtaining an Associate Degree in Accounting from Somerset County College (now Raritan Valley Community College) she went on to build a successful bookkeeping company which has been in operation since 1989. Marguerite has 30 years of extensive community service ranging from working with entities that help children with special needs to individuals facing food scarcity through SHIP in Somerville, NJ.
